Carey Salzsieder
Senior Associate Attorney
Carey Salzsieder is a Senior Associate Attorney at Middlebrook Group, PLLC, specializing in transactional law. Carey advises on a wide range of matters, including entity formation, governance, taxation, contracts, policies and procedures, mergers, employment, risk management, and real property. She is passionate about helping clients navigate complex legal challenges with clarity and confidence, tailored to their individual needs.
Carey’s prior legal experience includes serving as outside general counsel for businesses and overseeing and handling civil litigation matters. In these roles, she guided clients through business formation and governance, oversaw real estate transactions, drafted contracts and agreements, negotiated settlements, and resolved disputes with a practical and solution-oriented approach.
Before embarking on her legal career, Carey spent over a decade in law enforcement across city, county, and state departments. As a 911 police dispatcher and trainer, she developed a talent for managing high-pressure situations and solving intricate problems—skills that have become invaluable in her legal practice.
Originally from Washington State, Carey now calls Texas home, where she fully embraces the sunny weather and warm hospitality. In her free time, she loves discovering new restaurants and exploring parks and trails with her spirited rescue dog, Kaia.
