Katie is a paralegal at the firm, where she manages calendars and the flow of corporate and transactional work, drafts various legal documents, and prepares applications for federal and state filings.  Katie coordinates with clients, stakeholders, and firm staff when preparing interoffice and offsite meetings.  Always striving to help others, Katie is dedicated to her work and hopes to ensure positive interactions.  

Before joining the firm, Katie spent 20 years as a corporate paralegal, working in multi-level marketing, pharmaceuticals, real estate (commercial and residential), and roadway construction.  She often was the sole paralegal for a given company and its affiliates, making her a one-stop shop.  

Katie and her long-time partner have a daughter and a son.  Katie is an advocate in the community, using her voice to help others.  She stands for those who are unable to stand for themselves.  She never has a dull moment, from assisting senior citizens in keeping their life-long homes by working with the city to mark them as historical, to volunteering and fostering with D/FW rescues.
